Transhumance
In transhumance from Canada’s plains to the French Alps, this extraordinary flock of sheep pauses in the city to graze and amaze!
Reality meets fantasy in this wordless live installation that recreates a bucolic country scene in a typical urban setting.
Travel to a strange & hilarious universe as CORPUS takes you through a carefully studied, surrealistic overview of sheep behaviour. Routine activities include: shearing, feeding, milking and many more… This truly innovative performance twists reality in surprising ways and takes audience interaction to new heights!
“Simple, but a strike of genius”
Het Volk, Belgium
This adapted version of Les moutons sees a larger flock of sheep (up to 20!) perform together. CORPUS comes to your festival and teaches the content and form of the performance to selected members of your community. Once integrated in the flock, the new recruits perform the work alongside CORPUS performers. Contact us for more details.
