KYOHEI IRIE

Fellowship Artist
Kyohei Irie is a performing arts manager and producer from Saitama, Japan, dedicated to “bringing the charm of performing arts to those who have never experienced it.” He studied arts management, business administration in music and theater, and soundscape at Aoyama Gakuin University.
From 2019 to 2024, he worked at the Shizuoka Performing Arts Center (SPAC), managing producing, project planning, sales, outreach, administration, internships, and staff training. He contributed to major works by Artistic Director Satoshi Miyagi, including Antigone (2021), The Epic of Gilgamesh (2022), and A Doll’s House (2023).
Since February 2024, he has been based in Toronto, expanding his international experience with Corpus Dance Projects (Mukashi, Mukashi, The Alpine Merry Sheep Choir) and Takako Segawa’s Echoes. In September 2025, he began a residency with Corpus through the Japanese Agency for Cultural Affairs’ Overseas Study for Upcoming Artists, focusing on international producing and diversity-driven management.
